Sequence |
On the construction work of 2 floors of iron frame, the main work was almost completed by the subcontractor in the morning. The vitim was the chief of the contractor came from other place in the afternoon.He did temporary tightening and brace involving raising steel building. The victim was checking the bolts by using rachet around 17:20, then he missed the step and fell down to the concrete ground 4.5m below, and died next day. |
Cause |
He wore the safty belt, but it was not fixed. He wore helmet, but it was for the guard from the falling materials,not for self falling. Falling prevention net was not installed at that time. The shortage of the safety and recognition of risks. |
Countermeasures |
The installation of the fall prevention net. The execution of education and training of the safety belt use. It must be imposed that the helmet for hazard control by the crash is worn in the high-place work. |
