| Overview |
* When a painter went up the ladder with the material in his left hand and a brush in his right hand and he started his work, the aluminum ladder slid on a blue sheet for curing the floor, and he slipped down with the ladder, and he got the serious injuries of a dislocation fracture of his left leg and a fracture of his right leg. |

| Sequence |
* After the scaffold where the spray painting of external wall had finished was demolished, the old pipe was to be painted with the external wall color, because the dirtiness of the old pipe was conspicuous. Therefore a ladder was necessary for this work.
* Since the concrete floor had been beautifully finished, the blus vinyl sheet for curing was laid so that the concrete floor might not get dirty because of the painting work, and the aluminum ladder was stood on the sheet, and it was used as a scaffold.
* It was the work of painting the pipe installed on the external concrete wall, which was three meters high.
* Since the circumference of the work place was used both for storage and a waste wood storage space, it was impossible to build a scaffold and to install aerial vehicles and rolling towers, and so the ladder was unavoidably used as a scaffold. |

* Though the blue sheet for curing the concrete floor was slippery material, it had not been fixed with a strong adhesive tape.
* Since the aluminum ladder was set on the slippery blue sheet, both the blue sheet and the aluminum ladder slipped down, and the worker fell and he got seriously injured. |

* In case of curing by vinyl, the curing for the non-slip should be applied, and the vinyl should be fixed with the strong adhesive before starting work.
* An aluminum ladder should be fixed on a curing material.
* A ladder work should be carried out by more than two people. |
