The idea of my previous book is to develop a metasystem framework to
overcome failures called SOSF (System of System Failures) in the previous
Japanese edition of the book (A Metasystem Approach to Overcoming System
Failures). We have attempted to test the hypothesis that successful
practices in one world can be used in another world. And this new book is
not only about system failures, but also about the entire human activity
system, and the idea is that we can look at the world as a SOHAS (System of
Human Activity system) and work toward a better direction. We have already
applied SOHAS to IT and sky sports, but we aim to expand it to other human
activities. We hope this will be of some help to you.
