Now, due to higher performances and more complex functions, maintaining high quality is becoming more difficult than ever. At the same time, high speed decision making is demanded in various areas such as shorter TAT process for product development and improvement of performance by estimating future demands. We are planing to apply the study of failure as one of the methods to meet the demands and to respond to the changes."

Trials and errors always exist at the leading edge of the latest technology. Efforts to create the product of development, knowledge, for the future is the beginning of the Study of Failures (Refer to the figure on page 173 of "Learning from Failure").
