Tokyo, Japan -- March 26, 2003, -- Japan Science and Technology Corporation announced
that it made the "Failure Knowledge Database (FKDB)" available to the public. The page opens from
the URL http://shippai.jst.go.jp/.
This opening allows anyone to make entries into FKDB. This opening is a beta-testing for the
corporation so it can collect feedback from anyone who tries the database interface.
The page has plenty of links to documents that explain the background and detail of FKDB.
Individuals and corporations that are interested in FKDB should consult with this page
to gather information about it, and try making entries into the database.
