Sunnyvale, California -- Apr. 3, 2003, -- Sharon X. Wu hosted a visit by Vice Chairmen, Kenji iino and Masayuki Nakao to Applied Material's Process Module Technology Center. Toshiyuki Nagata, Senior Manager of the Process Module Business Group explained the activities inside the 3600square-meters, 3story tall building. The building houses three class-1 cleanrooms. "We are no longer just an equipment manufacturer. To meet our customers' needs, we develop equipment with them to meet the process requirements." says Toshiyuki. The building sounded like the safest place in the vicinity in case of an earthquake.
